Anna is a lifelong Dutchess County resident and a graduate of Spackenkill High School currently serving as Legislator in District 5 Town of Poughkeepsie.

In her short tenure on the legislature, Anna is proud to have co sponsored and voted in favor of initiatives that drive affordability and restore the legislature as a co equal branch of government.

She is an attorney and advocate committed to protecting constitutional due process and the liberty interests of vulnerable adults and clients. Throughout her legal career, she has worked to safeguard the rights of individuals within complex systems, ensuring that the law is applied fairly, consistently, and with integrity.

Anna is committed to strengthening public safety while advancing policies that promote affordability, stable neighborhoods, and long-term economic security for local families. She supports responsible budgeting and transparent government spending, with a focus on directing resources where they are most needed. She is committed to securing funding for local Town police, particularly in the area of mental health response and crisis intervention, recognizing that effective public safety requires training, coordination, and appropriate services at the first responder level.

She also supports thoughtful planning that promotes walkable neighborhoods, safe streets, and vibrant local business corridors, ensuring that District 5 remains a place where families, seniors, and young people can live, work, and thrive.

As a mother of two boys, Anna understands the challenges facing Dutchess County families and is dedicated to fostering opportunity and stability. She is a strong advocate for constitutional and due process protections for all residents, including Dutchess County immigrants, grounded in the principle that equal protection under the law is fundamental to a just and secure community for all.
